In my spare time, I enjoy reading nonfiction books (my current favorite subgenre is the intersection between history, science/medicine, and women’s lived experiences).  I am in several book clubs and relish the opportunity to chat about the book; it is also a great way to learn about books I would not have otherwise encountered!

I love crocheting-specifically big granny square afghans. Most everyone in for my social network (and their babies) has one-there is nothing more heart-warming than having something handmade and bright! I also enjoy trying other crafting projects-let me know if you know what I should do next!

Finally, I love travelling and exploring new local coffee shops and bookshops, as well as travelling with friends!
